There are many reasons why you may need to change your locks. You may have just moved into a new property? You may have had a break up and require the locks changing after a person leaves the property. Or you may have just lost your keys and would like to change your locks for peace of mind. Whatever the reason you require your locks to be changed we can help.
If your locks haven’t been changed recently then there is a good chance that they need to be upgraded. This could be a mortice lock that needs to be upgraded to the latest British standard (BS3621). You may also want to upgrade your uPVC door locks to high security cylinders to protect yourself from the lock snapping attack that most burglars now employ as an entry method. No matter the reason, we are here to help and advise you on the best locks to suit your security needs.

Panic Exit Devices
BS EN 1125 applies to panic applications where the exit door is used by the public and provides “safe and effective escape through the doorway with minimum effort and without prior knowledge of operation”. For example: theatres, schools, shops, hospitals, cinemas.
BS EN 179 applies to emergency applications where the exit door is used by people who “are familiar with the emergency exit and it’s hardware and therefore a panic situation is unlikely to occur”. For example: a place of work, never accessed by the public or people unfamiliar with the escape drill. This type of product should only be used in limited circumstances – be sure before you fit it!
